Inspirations for Life: HELP!

Help! I’m stuck! We can be just like this bee that was swimming in a pond. It was going in circles and couldn’t get out of the water. I pushed a big stick out towards it and it climbed on. It rested for a bit, then, launched itself into the air. We too can get stuck and need help, so working together with the UTA is why I’m here; to encourage and support you in your journey.

I’ve been challenging myself to be healthy for years. I want to prove to myself (and others) we can be healthy! But, like the bee, we can’t do it alone. We need guidance, resources, and support.

Do you think:

  • You’re afraid to change your diet, or habits?

  • You don’t need inspiration?

  • You’re already too stuck in your ways?

  • It’s too late to change?

Whatever it is, we’re here to encourage and help you. Wherever you’re at, it’s ok. Major changes can be hard, and scary. We need to start simple, do our research, and be brave towards opposing and non-understanding friends and family. You are the only one who can control your health or success. No one can do it for you, only with you.

Eating a healthy diet, moving and stretching our bodies, feeding our minds good information, proper sleep and rest, time for fun and relaxation, hobbies, a healthy social time, plans and goals… you’ve heard it all before, these are the keys to success. You can’t ignore them and expect health, or success.

If you’re looking for something new and invigorating for exercise, try: Dancing or dancers’ exercises, or Pilates. Qigong are great ancient healing movements, easy to do, no matter your age, or what shape you’re in.

Everything depends on our health. Without it we have nothing.
